Leslie Higginson, elected Circuit Clerk
The main duties of the circuit clerk are to keep the courts organized. The clerks office is where all of the court cases are filed and the records of those cases are kept. It handles all civil and criminal trials, child support cases, and traffic violations. The office also takes on the job of collecting and recording all fines and fees which were collected from those cases.

every court case ever seen in the Hamilton County Court House, is here in this room. It is hard to show all of the records which are kept within the walls of this tiny room.

The Deputy Circuit Clerk duties are to be both an assistant to the Circuit Clerk and help in the discharging of duties of the office.
