HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

The Hamilton County Courthouse was erected in 1938. The sheriff's department has been located there every since. It is located in the southeast corner of the building. The courthouse contained a jail up until 1986. At that time they began keeping prisoners in White County. The department consists of sheriff Greg Brenner and his deputies.
