Students will be back in class tomorrow, now that a month-long teachers strike at Benton High School appears to be over. Negotiators tentatively agreed to a three-year settlement this morning. No one is commenting on the content of the deal. It still must be ratified by the full board and 60 striking teachers and staff. School board president Mark Minor says the board has scheduled an emergency meeting to consider the plan tomorrow morning. The district's 685 high school students have been out of class since teachers walked off the job August 19th.
