Mae Henderson, 94, of McLeansboro and formerly of Omaha, died at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9th, 1996 at McLeansboro Health Care. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Henderson was born on May 13, 1902, in Thackeray, a daughter of John Wesley and Sara (Helms) Ledford. She married Robert A. Henderson, who preceded her in death on March 4, 1966. She was a member of General Baptist Church in Omaha.

The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 1996, at Edwards Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Rev. Randy Plunkett officiated. Burial was in Palenstine No. 2 Cemetary in Omaha.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by one daughter, Ruby Abston of McLeansboro; two sons, Earnest Henderson of Maunie and Clyde Henderson of Omaha; one sister, Florence Ledford of McLeansboro; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and several great- great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter Mattie Braden.
