Neva Jane Proctor, 74, of Florence, Kentucky, and formerly of Wayne City died at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13th, 1996 at her home. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Proctor was born on January 25, 1922, in Belvidere, Illinois, a daughter of Oscar and Anna (Brewer) Wolfe. She married Waldo "Wally" Proctor. She was a member of the Northern Kentucky Church of Christ in Florence, Kentucky.
The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 1996, at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Rev. Joe McCameron officiated. Burial was in Thomason Cemetary in Wayne City.
Mrs. Proctor is survived by her husband; one son, Daniel Lee Proctor and wife Chris of Independence, Kentucky; one step-daughter, Gloria J. Young of Rochester, Kentucky; two brothers, Lewis Wolfe of Flora and Orban Wolfe of Fairfield; four sisters, Verna Hoffher of Evansville, Helen Stutts of Wayne City, Lois Hawkins of Mt. Vernon and Faye Carney of Rockford, Illinois; and two step-grandchildren.
