Ronald G. Storment, 59, of Elgin and formerly of Belle Rive, died at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was a retired factory worker.
Mr. Storment was born on January 12, 1937, in Belle Rive, a son of Carl and Beulah (Gowler) Storment. Mr. Storment served in the U. S. Army from 1959 to 1961.
The funeral was at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 1996, at Gholson's Funeral Home in Dahlgren. Rev. Kenneth Holland officiated.
Mr. Storment is survived by his wife; Louise Storment of Elgin; one son, Michael Storment and wife Kathy of Elgin; one daughter, Lisa Storment of Elgin; one sister, Iris Sefried and husband Paul of Sanford, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.
