Vada Tudor

Vada Tudor, 75, of McLeansboro and formerly of Woodlawn, died at 1:43 a.m. on Monday, November 11th, 1996, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, Illinois.

She was a retired school teacher having taught in Nashville, Ashley, and Tamaroa, Illinois.

Mrs. Tudor was born on May 9, 1921, in Dahlgren, a daughter of Robert Omer and Carrie V. (Wood) Miller. She married Arlye V. Tudor, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Retired Illinois Teachers Association.

The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Wedsday, November 13, 1996, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was in Richardson Hill Cemetery in Dahlgren.

Mrs. Tudor is survived by one brother, James C. Hall of Corpus Christi, Texas; three nephews, Fred Hall of Florida, James D. Hall of Memphis, Tennessee, and Robert T. "Tom" Miller of Woodlawn.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Evan and John Hall and Robert "Bob" Miller; and one sister, Edna Mae Brown.

Memorials may be made to the Richardson Hill Cemetery Association.
