Crystal Ann Cross, 67, of Chandler, Arizonia, and formerly of Dahlgren, died at 12:25 a.m. on Saturday November 15, 1997, at her home. She was a housewife.
She was born on March 2, 1930 in Ancona, Illinois, a daughter of Paul O. and Merle L. (Zeilman) Butcher. She married Gerald M. Cross, who died on April 21, 1990. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church of Roswell, New Mexico, and a former member of Dyer Baptist Church in Dyer, Ind.
The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 1997, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren. The Rev. Garland Burris officiated. Burial will be at Middle Creek Cemetery near Dahlgren.
Mrs. Cross is survived by four sons, Alan Cross and wife Kathy of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joseph "Mike" Cross and wife Beth of Steger, Illinois, Richard Cross and Scott Cross, both of Mesa, Arizonia; three daughters, Vicki Olsen and husband Blaine of Mesa, Arizonia, Sharon Cross of Roswell, New Mexico and Paula Hull and husband Dwight of Chandler, Arizonia; one brother, Donald Butcher of Pontiac, Illinois; and three sister, Eileen Weinberg, Mary Carbone and Nona White, all of Streator, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
