Charles A. Bowman, 63, of McLeansboro, died at 10:57 a.m. September 22, 1997, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.
He retired from Southern Railroad, where he was a machine operator.
He was a Protestant.
Surviving are his wife, Glenda Faye; three sons, Larry Lee of Springfield, Missouri, and Gary Eugene and James Michael, both of McLeansboro; a sister, Helen Campbell of Macedonia; five brothers, Roy and Dwight, both of McLeansboro, Loran of Bradley, Dean of Benton and Eugene of Enfield; and eight grandchildren.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. September 25, 1997 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with burial in Braden Valley Cememtery near Dale.
