Delories Lucille Hart, 65, of Collinsville and formerly of McLeansboro, died at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997, at her home. She was a retired accountant at Scott Air Force Base at Belleville.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1931, in Hamilton County, a daughter of Finis and Dorothy (Smith) Severs. She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Caseyville, IL.
The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, with a private graveside service at Crouch Cemetery near Belle City. The Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Gholson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hart is survived by two sons, James Hart and John hart and wife Tina all of Collinsville; three sisters, Thelma Barlow of Belleville, Jeanne Eaton of Old Hickory, Tenn., and Mary Sue Haas of McLeansboro; two grandchildren, Lindsay Hart and Kelsey Hart; and one great-grandchildren, John Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Memorials may be made to the McCoy Library Book Fund and left at Gholson Funeral Home.
