Leon L. Howell, 56, of the Aden area, died at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 1997, at his home.
He was born on November 16, 1940, in Paducah, Kentucky, a son of Dexter and Mary (Little) Howell. He was a truck driver for Hudson Foods in Ohio. On May 23, 1992, he married Cathy White in Hamilton County. He attended Springerton Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints.
The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 1997, at York Funeral Home in Wayne City. Rev. Larry Woodrow officiated. Burial was in Garrison Cemetery near Aden.
He is survived by his wife Cathy; a son, Partick Brian Howell of Paducah; two sisters, Patricia Bradley of Paducah and Magart Sawyer of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Dexter "Buddy" Howell of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
