Mary Elizabeth Daily, 72, of Marshall, Illinois, and formerly of McLeansboro, died at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 1997, at Burnside Nursing Center in Marshall.
She was born on March 22, 1925, a daughter of William and Aileen Burns Hill in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Stelle Daily, who died January 4, 1989.
The funeral was at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 1997, at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial was in Marshall Cemetery.
She is survived by one cousin, Virginia Shuster of McLeansboro. She and her husband Ed took care of her for the past several years.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
