Clara Drew
Born April 22, 1912 - Died February 2, 1998

Clara Drew, 85, of McLeansboro, died at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at McLeansboro HealthCare Center. She was a homemaker.

She was born on Aprill 22, 1912, in Wayne County, a daughter of James and Dora (Donahue) McKinney. On Aug. 20, 1929, she married William Elmer Drew, who survives. She was a member of Belle Prairie Baptist Church.

The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was in Crouch Cemetery at Belle Prairie.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Drew, is survived by a son, Marion Drew and wife Betty of McLeansboro; a brother, Loren McKinney and wife Jean of Wayne City; two sisters, Lorene Ralph of Sims and Dorothy Rose of South Elgin, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Clarence Drew, daughters Alice Louise Moore and Vivian Joy Whitter, five brothers and one sister.
