Delmar Lee Hart, 65, of Dahlgren, died at 9:08 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 1998 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was a mechanic for Dowzer Electric in Mt. Vernon.
He was born on November 30, 1932, in Dahlgren, a son of Thomas Gabriel and Hazel Reatha (Cox) Hart. On July 5, 1955, he married Evelyn Jane Bridwell in Dahlgren, and she survives. He served as a corporal in the United States Army in the Korean War.
The funeral, was at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 1998, at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren. The Rev. Robert Sefried and Rev. Joe Nogalski officiated. Burial was in Crisel Cemetery in Dahlgren.
Besides his wife, Mr. Hart is survived by one son, Ronnie Lee Hart and wife Cathy of Delafield; one daughter, Delores Ann Hart of Dahlgren; five brothers, Gabe Hart and wife Virginia, Marshall Hart and wife Sue and Evan Hart and wife Norma all of Dahlgren, Kenneth Hart and wife Ann of McLeansboro, Bill Hart and wife Joan of Blue Island, Illinois; two sisters, Madolyn Parkhill of Dahlgren and Verla Anderson and husband Vern of Lexington, Illinois; three grandchildren, Amy, Jessica and Trevor Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, a half-brother and three sisters.
