Frances L. Foreman, 66, of McLeansboro, died at 5:46 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 1998, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. She was a retired parent-child coordinator for Wabash Area Development, Inc. for over 20 years.
She was born on December 30, 1931, in East St. Louis, a daughter of Louis and Pearl (Ward) Flory. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in McLeansboro and also wrote a church news column for the Times-Leader.
The funeral was at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 1998 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Jim Gray officiated. Burial was in Smith Cemetery near Dale.
She is survived by her husband, Jack L. Foreman of McLeansboro; one son, David Cleaves and wife Kristi of Naples, Florida; two daughters, Jack L. Foreman and Kelly Foreman, both of McLeansboro; a nephew, Lloyd Hill of McLeansboro; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
