Pearl K. Gammon, 95, Alliance, Ohio, and formerly of Broughton, died at 8:17 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at the McCrea Nursing Center in Alliance, Ohio. She was a homemaker.
She was born on February 27, 1903, in Broughton, a daughter Marion and Emma (Armstrong) Donelson. On March 12, 1930, she married Rev. Olin Dale Gammon, who died on May 15, 1987. She was a member of Maranatha Church of God.
The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 1998, at the Cassady-Turkle Funeral Home in Alliance, Ohio. Pastor B. H. Settle officiated. Burial in Alliance City Cemetery. Mrs. Gammon is survived by one son, Robert D. Gammon of Waxhaw, North Carolina.; one sister, Beulah Utley of Fairfield; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and five brothers.
