Robina A. Goodwin, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, and formerly of McLeansboro, died at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 1998, at her home. She was a retired press operator at the former Elder Manufacturing Company in McLeansboro, having worked 44 years.
She was born on October 20, 1905, in Hamilton County, a daughter of Lava and Mary (Bright) Holster. She married Ben Goodwill, who died in 1975.
Her funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Rudolph Barnett officiated. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by two sons, Noral B Goodwin of Carmi and Herman Goodwin and wife Marie of Hollywood, Florida, one daughter Lois Carlene Parker and husband Clifford of Evansville, Indiana, 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several great-grand-children; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and three brothers.
