Wallace J. Anderson, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, and formerly of McLeansboro, died at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 1998, at the Masonic Home in Louisville. He was a retired pathology laboratory technician.

he was born on August 2, 1919, in McLeansboro, a son of Harry and Minnie (Wilson) Anderson.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at 1:00 p.m. Burial was at IOOF Cemetery in McLeasnboro. The Rev. Clayton Abney will officiate. Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons, Craig Anderson and Barry C. Anderson; two sisters, Jean Smith and Evelyn Stringfellow; and five grandchildren.
