William R. “Bill” Hart, 59, of Blue Island, Illinois, and formerly of Dahlgren, died at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 1998, at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island. He was retired from Acme Steel Corporation in Roseland, Illinois.
He was born on July 8, 1939, in Dahlgren, a son of Thomas Gabriel Hart and Hazel Reatha (Cox) Hart.
The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 1998, at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren. The Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was in Crisel Cemetery near Dahlgren.
Mr. Hart is survived by his wife Joanne (Adamecz) Hart of Blue Island; one son, Kenny Hart and wife Jill of Alsip, Illinois; one daughter, Carolyn Kopec and husband Steve of New Lenox, Illinois; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hart and Steve Kopec of New Lenox, Kenny Hart Jr. and Camille Hart of Alsip; four brothers, Gabe Hart and wife Virginia, Mar-shall Hart and wife Sue, Evan Hart and wife Norma, all of Dahlgren, Kenneth Hart and wife Flo Ann of McLeansboro; two sisters, Madolyn Parkhill of Dahlgren and Verla An-derson and husband Vera of Lexing-ton, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Helen Hart and Jane Hart, both of Dahlgren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, one half-brother and one half-sister.
