Yvonne L. (Martin) Grant, 69, of Bloomington, died at 12:29 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal, Illinois.

She was born on November 20, 1928, in Bloomington, the daughter of Earl and Idalene Hays Thomas. She was a member of Four Seasons Church of God.

The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 1998, at the East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Burial was at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Harold Driskell officiated.

She was first married to Ancel Mattin of McLeansboro. They have two daughters, Pat and Dixie of Bloomington, who survive. She is also survived by her second husband, Robert Grant; two sisters, Dorothy Aaobrecht of Gridley, Illinois, and Marilyn Lawrence of Normal; one foster sister, Olive McClure of Carlock, Illinois; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and three great-grandchildren.
