Alicia Michelle Denham, 12, daughter of Timothy L. and Tammy D. (Essary) Denham, of McLeansboro died at 3:25 p.m. Monday, October 11, 1999 in Hamilton Memorial Hospital at McLeansboro. Death was due to a heart condition.
She was born December 13, 1986 in Mount Vernon.
Alicia was a seventh grade junior high student at McLeansboro East Side School. She was active in Girl Scouts and attended the Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to the parents are a brother, Joshua Denham at home; paternal grandparents Harvey and Mary Denham of McLeansboro; maternal grandparents, Ray and Mary Essary of Broughton; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
The funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 1999 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Jim Connors and the Rev. Eric Williams officiated. Burial was in Richardson Hill Cemetery at Dahlgren.
