Charles Albert Brock, 56, of Enfield, died at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 1999, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro of cancer.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the White County Highway Department.
He was born on June 19, 1943 in Hamilton County, a son of Arthur A. and Brownie Jane (Hayes) Brock. He married Joyce Ingram (divorced).
He was a Protestant by faith. He was a member of McLeansboro Elks, Eagles and Enfield Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Dixie Coy and husband Sam of Wayne City and Paralee Prince and husband Lee of McLeansboro; two sons, Brad and Vince, both of McLeansboro; a sister, Alice M. Woodrow and husband Clyde of Enfield; eight grandchildren; and his companion, Deanna Carter of Enfield. He was preceded in death by twin sons, Erick and Derick, in infancy.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 1999 at Gholson Funeral Home McLeansboro Chapel, with burial in Enfield Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant twin sons, Erick and Derick Brock and a sister Carolyn Ward.
