Earl F. Holeman, 88, of McLeansboro, died at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 1999, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was a retired production manager for Shell Oil Company, having served 41 years and retiring in 1969.
He was born on February 25, 1911, in Osage County, Oklahoma, a son of Elmer and Cico (White) Holeman. He married Mildred Hartley, who survives. He was a member of the McLeansboro First Baptist Church.
The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 1999, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro The Rev. John Denham and Rev. Bill Tomberlin officiated. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Mr. Holeman is survived by two sons, Alan Holeman and wife Barbara of Henderson, Kentucky, and Donald Holeman and wife Glenda of Kalkaska, Michigan; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
