Eunice J. Clark, 86, of McLeansboro died at 1:49 p.m. Friday, October 15, 1999 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was born April 5, 1913 in Hamilton County to Lawrence and Cordelia (Dial) Swafford.

Mrs. Clark was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She marred Harry E. 'Greasy' Clark. He preceded her in death April 15, 1995.

Mrs. Clark is survived by one son, Donald Dwight Clark and his wife, Phyllis of McLeansboro; one daughter, Betty Becker and her husband, Paul of McLeansboro; four grandchildren, Vicky Trevarthan of Tampa, Florida, Randy Clark of St. Louis, Missouri, Rick Clark of Evansville, Indiana, and Troy Becker of McLeansboro; one brother, Matthew Swafford of McLeansboro; three sisters, Beulah Biggerstaff, Florence Ledford both of McLeansboro, and Wilma Harris of Kosciusko, Mississippi.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arthur and Euel Swafford, and one sister Gladys Swafford and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 1999 with burial following in the International Organization of Odd Fellows Cemetery in McLeansboro.
