Elba M. Harrawood, 90, of Dale, died at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 1999, at her home. She was a homemaker.
She was born on November 8, 1908, in Hamilton County, a daughter of Nelson and Mamie (Johnson) Gray. She married Henry Harrawood, who died in 1971. She was amember of the Crossroads Church of Christ.
The funeral was at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 1999, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Brother Charles Wall officiated. Burial was in Hickory Hill Cemetery near Broughton.
Mrs. Harrawood is survived by one son, Donald Harrawood and wife Pat of Dale; four grandchildren, Miczi Evans and husband Brian of Merritt Island, Florida, Kimberly Deen and husband Kent of Old DuQuoin, Michelle Harrawood of Eldorado, Donald Kim Harrawood and wife Laura of Dale; three great-grandchildren, Andrea and Amanda Harrawood and Kyle Deen; and one brother, Franklin Gray of Eldorado.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Ray Gray.
