Frank Edward Grant Sr., 67, of Broughton, died Monday morning, June 14, 1999, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was a mechanic.

He was born on August 23, 1931. in Mill Shoals, a son of Alfred Arnold and Frances Renshaw Grant. He was a member of Full Gospel Church in Broughton.

The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 1999, at Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial was in Kuykendall Cemetery.

Mr. Grant is survived by his wife, Claribel (Fechter) Grant; two sons, Mark Christopher Grant and wife LaDonna of Albion, Frank Edward Grant Jr. and wife Eby of Broughton; a daughter, Jill Irene (Thomas) Watson of McLeansboro; five grandchildren, Amber Dawn Fechter, Amanda Gray, Anthony and Leslie Watson and Jacob Grant; two brothers, Jerry Grant and wife Patricia of Bloomington, Illinois, Ernest Grant and wife Delta of Fairland, Oklahoma; two sisters, Betty James and husband Claude of Secor, Illinois, Shirley DuVall and husband Earl of Mt. Carmel.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Robert and Harold.
