Henry C. Grebener, 65, of McLeansboro, died at 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. He ws a custodian at the hospital.
He was born on December 24, 1933, in New York, New York, a son of Henry and Katherine (Sieben) Grebener. He served in the U. S. Army.
The funeral was at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Gholson Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Lawler officiated. Burial was in St. Clement’s Cemetery near McLeansboro.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul F. Grebener of Freeport, Illinois, and Joseph Grebener of Rockford, Illinois; two sisters, Eleanore Grebener Navarro of Chicago and Katherine Blackmore of Rancho Mirage, California; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
