Harrison McMahon, 69, of Norris City, died Tuesday, November 9, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of a heart attack.
He retired as a road-grader operator, former Mayberry Township Road Commissioner in Hamilton County and worked 32 years at Corn Products Company in Pekin.
He was born September 3, 1930 in Hamilton County, a son of Omer and Ester (Prince) McMahon. He was a protestant by faith.
The funeral was at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 1999 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The Rev. Keith (Chuck) Belcher officiated. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Surviving are four sons, Harrison Edward of Norris City, Charles Lee of South Pekin and Lemual Dean and Billy John, both of Pekin; a brother, Howard of Norris City; three grandchildren, Jamie and Amber McMahon and John Allen; and his companion, Sylvia Allen of Norris City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
