Marion "Inman" Hargrove, 83, of Broughton died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 1999, at the Harrisburg Medical Center.
He was born October 10, 1916, in Big Rock, Tennessee to the late Henry Jackson and Clara Estes (Bierly) Hargrove. He married Bonnie A. Whitmire. She survives.
Mr. Hargrove was a retired waterflood plant operator for Texas Oil Co.
He was a member of the Broughton Masonic Lodge No. 963 and a Protestant by faith.
Mr. Hargrove is survived by one son, James Ernest and his wife, Sandi Hargrove of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Bonnie Louise and husband, Wilburn Goss of Eldorado, Marjorie Ann, and husband, Jeff Ensley of Harrisburg and Mildred June and husband, Curtis Willis of Jacksonville, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children, and one great-great-grandchild.
Masonic services by the Broughton Masonic Lodge are at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2000, at the funeral home. The Rev. Gene Rister officiated. Burial followed at the Douglas Cemetery near Broughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
