Rosemary (Devoy) Carnes, 59, of Phoenix, Arizona, died on August 23, 1999, in Phoenix.

She was born in McLeansboro, a daughter of Ralph and Lelia (Henderson) Devoy. She was married to Bill Carnes, who survives.

The funeral was on Saturday, August 28, 1999, at Churcher Pasley Funeral Home in Liberty, Mo. Burial was in Liberty.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Carnes is survived by three sons, Stanley and Michael Carnes of Kansas City and Robert Carnes of Phoenix; three brothers, Wilford Dean Devoy of Kansas City, John Robert Devoy and Clarence “Bud” Devoy of Evansville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews; an aunt, Bernice Devoy of McLeansboro; and also several cousins in McLeansboro.
