Wilma G. Halley, 78, of Dahlgren (Belle Praire) died at 12:55 p.m. Monday, November 1, 1999, at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She retired from Elders Manufacturing in McLeansboro, as a seamstress.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis and the St. Elizabeth Altar Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Janice Mayberry of McLeansboro, Dorothea Perry of West Frankfort and Wilma Sue Anderson of DeKalb; two sons, Donald of Belle Prairie and George Edward of Kankakee; two sisters, Maxine Halley and Faye Sefried of Belle Prairie; a stepsister, Evelyn Barker of McLeansboro; two brothers, Cyrus and Albert Severs, both of Belle Prairie; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Edward O “Doc,” died in 1983.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 1999, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis, with burial in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were by Harre Funeral Home McLeansboro Chapel.
