Caroline C. Gunter, 57, died Sunday, August 20, 2000, at 12:15 a.m. at her home of cancer.
She was a member of Harvest Time Apostolic Church.
She was born on April 11, 1943 in Hamilton County, Illinois, a daughter of Frank and Louise (Beachle) Trausch.
She was married to Charles E. Gunter on May 2, 1964 and he survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Charles E.; two daughters, Katherine Keppler of Flora and Beverly Atkinson of McLeansboro; a son, Robert of Anderson, South Carolina; six sisters, Marie Hopkins of Keenes, Eleanor, Marcella and Barbara Trausch, all of McLeansboro, Eileen Salmon of Streamwood and Margaret Ragan of Wayne City; three brothers, William, Harold and Edward, all of Dahlgren; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at Gholson Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Campbell and Rev. Don Cook officiated. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery, near McLeansboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
