Clyde Hockman, 91, of McLeansboro died Monday, August 21, 2000, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.
He retired from Wayne-White Electric Co-operative in Fairfield.
He was a member of Enterprise Methodist Church in Cisne.
He was born June 6, 1909 in Ripley, Illinois, a son of Nathan Hockman and Sarah (Riley) Hockman. On July 20, 1990, he married Mammie (Hargis) Hockman and she survives.
Surviving are his wife, Mamie (Hargis); six stepchildren, Jesse Campbell of McLeansboro, Ralph Campbell of Henderson, Nevada, Frank Campbell of Fairfield, Elaine Moore of Cisne and Jim and O.C. Warfel, both of Louisiana; stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces. He was preceded in death by two wives and an infant son.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at Harre Funeral Home McLeansboro Chapel. Rev. John Lee, Jr. and Rev. Mark Lee officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery near Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, one infant son, and five brothers.
