Carrie M. (Reed) Hutson

Carrie M. (Reed) Hutson, 90, of McLeansboro, died Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at Cisne Healthcare Center.

She was born on June 21, 1910 in Wayne County, Illinois, the daughter of William Logan and Martha Jane (Warren) Reed.

She and her late husband, Otis, had owned and operated Hutson’s Studio in McLeansboro.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by Sister-in-Law, Dora Reed of Cisne, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2000 at York Funeral Home in Wayne City. Rev. Gene Phillips officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, Wilburn Reed, Clarence Reed, Charley Reed, Warren Reed, Leslie Reed, and two sisters, Hester Middleton and Pearl Collins.
