Donald D. Harrawood, 66, of Route 5, McLeansboro died Tuesday, August 29, 2000, at 2:15 a.m. at his home.
He was a retired farmer and construction worker.
He was born on April 6, 1934 in Hamilton County, Illinois, a son of Henry and Elba (Gray) Harrawood. He married Pat Knight on June 29, 1963 and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Harrawood of McLeansboro; one son Donald Kim Harrawood and wife Laura of Dale; three daughters, Mitzi Harrawood-Evans and husband Brian of Merritt Island, Florida, Michelle Harrawood of Eldorado, and Kimberly Deen and husband Kent of DuQuoin; and four grandchildren, Andrea and Amanda Harrawood of Dale and Kyle and Kayla Deen of DuQuoin.
Funeral services were held on Friday, September 1, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Rev. Charles Wall officiated. Burial was in Hickory Hill Cemetery near Broughton, Illinois.
Mr. Harrawood was a member of the Crossroads Church of Christ near Broughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
