Donald E. Eaves, 70, of Dahlgren, died Friday, May 19, 2000 at 2:55 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Mr. Eaves was a retired Salesman and theater entertainer.
He was born November 29, 1929 in Waterloo, Iowa, a son of Leo and Dorothy (Bix) Eaves. He married Zoe Elaine Adams on July 31, 1972 and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, Zoe Eaves of Dahlgren; one step-daughter, Mrs. Elaine Prasuhn of Farmington, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Helen Schmidt and husband Al of Ottumwa, Iowa and three grandchildren, Amanda, Bradley, and Taylor Prasuhn.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 21, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren. Rev. Gene Hart officiated. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren.
Mr. Eaves was a Protestant by faith.
