Delpha O. Brunkow, 84, of Broughton, Illinois died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at White County Skilled Care in Carmi.

She was a Protestant.

She was born on February 11, 1916 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, a daughter of Ben and Minnie (Holman) Welch. She married James A. Brunkow.

Survivng are a son, James Michael of Broughton; and three grandchildren, Samuel, Zefram and Aerin Brunkow.

Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2000 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Rev. Bob Anderson officiated. Burial was in Digby Hill Cemetery near Dale, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James who died in 1990 and three sisters..
