Edna Irene Haile, 70, of Belle Rive died Sunday, February 20, 2000, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital of cardiac arrest.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Alfred M. Haile; two daughters, Linda Blanton of Bonnie, and Sheryl Artis of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two sons, Marion of Bethany and Gerald of Belle Rive; a sister, Lorene Underwood of Bethany; a brother, James Orrison of Mount Vernon; eight grandchildren; an a great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2000, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery near Fisco.
