Edythe Marie Prather
Born December 9, 1918 - Died January 15, 2000

Edythe Marie Prather, 81, of McLeansboro, died Saturday, January 15, 2000, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in McLeansboro and the Hamilton County Home Extension.

Mrs. Prather was born on December 9, 1918 in Springerton, Illinois to Adam Renschler and Sadie (Russell) Renschler. On May 15, 1934, she married Carl W. Prather.

Surviving are two daughters, Kay Wiggins of McLeansboro and Carla Bruce (husband Tom) of Phoenix, Arizona; a son, Bill of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2000 at Blooming Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. who died on August 8, 1988, parents, two sisters, and four brothers.
