Frieda Louise Aydt

Frieda Louise Aydt, 92, of Piopolis, died died Monday, September 11, 2000, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.

She was born October 1, 1907 in Hamilton County, Illinois, a daughter of William Roesch and Margaret (Brendel) Roesch. On January 29, 1932 in Piopolis, she married L. Clarence Aydt and he survives.

Surviving are her husband, L. Clarence; a son, C. William of McLeansboro; a brother, Anton Roesch of McLeansboro; five grandchildren, Anita Koontz, Cynthia Bowling, and Janet, Steven and Wayne Aydt; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2000 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Joseph Lawler officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, with a rosary service at 8:00 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro was in charge of all arrangements.
