Leroy Digby, 58, of Enfield died Sunday, January 23, 2000, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro of a heart attack.
He was a tank truck driver for the B&B Oil Field Company in Norris City.
He was born on August 1, 1941 to Walter and Edith Jane (Ledbetter) Digby, who still survivies.
His first marraige was to June Brown. He then married Ruth Ann Martin for a period.
He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran and member of the American Legion Post 106. He was Protestant.
Surviving are five daughters, Heather Young of Oregon, Christina Gollner of Springerton, Melissa Lee of Norris City, Brandy and Mandy Digby, both of Enfield; four sons, David, Paul and Perry Wilburn, all of Burney, California, and Jason Digby of Enfield; a sister, Joanne Ferrell of California; two brothers, Woodrow of Wisconsin, and Carl of McLeansboro; 16 grandchildren; and his companion, Joann Winter of Enfield.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2000 at Gholson Funeral Home. Rev. George Dismuke officiated. Burial was in Digby Hill Cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post #106.
