Mary Ann Bell, 51, of McLeansboro died died Friday, September 8, 2000, at her home of ovarian cancer.
She was a special education instructor at West Side Elementary School in McLeansboro.
She was born on October 3, 1948 in McLeansboro, a daughter of Mark C. and Hallie (McGuire) Dolan. She married Ronald Emerson Bell on June 21, 1969 in Enfield, Illinois, and he survives.
She was a former member of the Hamilton County Home Extension Association, St. Patrick’s Altar Society and had been a Girl and Boy Scout leader.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald Emerson “Ron”; two daughters, Carey Lynn of Harrisburg and Elizabeth Wiggins of St. Louis; a son, Scott of West Bloomfield, Michigan; and four grandchildren, Macey, James and Amber Lynn and Jack Bell.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Enfield. Rev. Steve Rudolphi officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
