Molly Hardesty, 67, died Wednesday, September 13, 2000, at her home in Joliet.

She was a homemaker.

She was born on July 28, 1933 in Hamilton County, Illinois, a daughter of Herman and Amanda Gaines. She married Herman Hardesty and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hardesty was a Protestant by faith.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.

Graveside services were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2000 in the Douglas Cemetery, near Broughton. Rev. Eugene Rister officiated. The Gholson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
