Wayne Willis Hunt, 82, of Lake of Egypt, died on Monday, July 3, 2000 at 3:15 p.m. at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Hunt was a retired farmer and a heavy equipment operator.
He was born on November 12, 1917 in Hamilton County, the son of Earl and Grace (Williams) Hunt. He married Juanita Keasler in 1936 and she survives.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Juanita; one son, Kenneth Hunt and wife Beck of Lake of Egypt; two granddaughters, Sheilah Neal and husband Dennis of Norris City, and Debra Wilson and husband Richard of Fort Branch, Indiana; one step-grandson, Stephen Wolfe and wife Peggy of Mansfield, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Griffith of Deming, New Mexico and Helen Short of Broughton; and one brother, Earl Hunt, Jr. of Deming, New Mexico.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Rev. Robert Seiffert officaited. Burial was at the Gholson Cemetery near Broughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carol Hunt.
