Bernice L. Flint, 82, of McLeansboro died of heart complications at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2001, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on December 13, 1918 in Akin, the daughter of John W. Hall and Bessie L. Wheat. She married William E. Flint on February 3, 1941 in Woodstock, Illinois and he died on March 11, 1981.
She had worked for Abbot Laboratories in north Chicago as a research chemist for 30 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2001 at Harre Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in McLeansboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and two brothers.
