Brenda L. Trotter, 49, of Dahlgren died Friday, June 8, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon of cardiac arrest.

She was a homemaker and worked as a certified nursing assistant.

Ms. Trotter was born on January 15, 1952, in Illinois to Marshel and Alma (Buchanan) Trotter.

Surviving are three sons, Timothy, Cody and Travis, all of Dahlgren; her mother, Alma Trotter of Dahlgren; a sister, Karen Starr of Opdyke; two brothers, Conard of Benton and Keith of Bluford; a grandson, Damian Louis Trotter; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Rev. Richard McCormick officiated. Burial was in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.
