Everett Glenn Zellers, 88, of Dahlgren died at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2001, at his home.
He was born on February 14, 1912 in Dahlgren, the son of Frank M. Zellers and Gracie May (Gage) Zellers.
He married Clella (Catton) Zellers and she died on May 10, 1986.
He was a farmer.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in Europe in the Allied Airborne Branch of the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 41 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth Loftus of Jupiter, Florida; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Clella (Catton) died in 1986.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2001 at Harre Funeral Home. Rev. Leland Widick officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Dahlgren.
