Frieda Boyer

Frieda Boyer, 85, of McLeansboro died Friday, June 22, 2001 at Carmi Hospital in Carmi.

She was born on November 19, 1915, in White County to Frederick Myrle and Lula Irene (Allen) Allen.

She married Bernard Boyer in Salem on February 29, 1936; he died September 20, 1995.

Surviving are three daughters, Ila Ballard of McLeansboro, Laura Veatch of Texico and Marilyn Sancrant of Phoenix; a son, L.B. of McLeansboro; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1995, her parents and a grandson, Alan Ballard.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2001 at Harre Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Sefred and Rev. Joe Atkinson officiated. Burial was in Enfield Cemetery.
