James Michael Brunkow, 48, of Broughton died Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at home of cancer.

He was a truck driver for Rider Trucking Co. in Evansville. He was a member of Tuscon Masonic Lodge 630 in Walpole, Omaha Masonic Lodge 723 and a 15-year member of Southern Illinois Toy Model Train Club and a graduate of Murray State University.

Surviving are his wife, Trevadell (Hanks); a daughter, Aerial Star Brunkow of Broughton; two sons, James Samuel and Zephram Kyle, both of Broughton; half sisters; and half brothers.

Funeral services and burial were private. There was no visitation at Gholson Funeral Home.
