John William Cantrell, 58, of 715 S. Kihei Road, Kihei, Hawaii, died on Thursday, February 1, 2001 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Bill and Barbara Sutton of Douglass, Georgia.
John was a retired Coast Guard Medic and Navy Veteran, Emergeny Room and Intensive Care Unit Nurse.
He was born on April 18, 1942 in Hamilton County, to the late Donald and Mary Cantrell.
Surviving are a wife, Judy of Kihei, Hawaii, four daughers, Kerry Lynn Sanders of West Point, Mississipp, Sonya Cantrell of San Leandro, California, Nichole Sibley of San Fransisco, California, Christie Barnard of Kihei, Hawaii, two sons, Steve Cantrell of Montauk, New York and Johnny Cantrell of New Orleans, Louisana, one sister, Barbara Sutton and brother-in-law, Bill Sutton of Douglass Georgia, two aunts, Mae Allen of McLeansboro and Margaret Davis of Norris City, two half brothers, Jimmy and Donnie Cantrell.
A memorial service was to be held at a later date at teh I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro when all of his close family and friends were called together.
